The Toronto Raptors and Charlotte Hornets are only allowed to have bangers this season. Even when both teams can’t hit the broadside of a barn, they find a way down the stretch to make it a great watch. Raptods defense deserves a ton of credit for swarming the Hornets. Only thing that really sucked about this game was watching Brandon Ingram leave the game early, it’s only a thumb sprain so hopefully he’s okay relatively soon. Thankfully, we have RJ Barrett who just completely took over in the 4th quarter. Turning an okay game into a great one for him. However, even with his efforts, the Raptors genuinely couldn’t hit a 3 (21%). After Lamelo Ball hit a tough layup to give Charlotte the lead, I thought they had it in the bag. Less than 2 seconds to go, Raptors had struggled to hit a 3 all game long, no BI3 to draw defense and they surely weren’t gonna let Barrett get the ball. Quickley refused to let the Hornets get another close win on us and drained the game winner.
