Stadium Series and it was fantastic! Only issue with this edition was the lame jerseys. However, this game’s high quality more than makes up for it. At first, this looked like a blowout. After Hagel scored the fastest outdoor goal ever, Boston went storm chasing and jumped to a 5-1 lead. My personal favourite was their 4th goal. Kastelic protected the puck from Hedman to set up Poitras for nasty back hand. Everything changed halfway through. WE GOT A GOALIE FIGHT: Swayman vs Vasilevsky. The first ever outdoor goalie fight. That fight, and the Bruins’ penalties that followed it, allowed the Lightning to storm back, led by Kucherov who scored the tying goal in the 3rd period, turning this game into an all-time classic. That comeback gave us OT and Kucherov continued wreaking havoc, even drew a penalty, which Boston killed off. Swayman came up huge repeatedly in OT and sent us to a shootout. Guentzel finally solved Swayman and Pasta hit the bar to win. Tampa’s first 4 goal comeback ever.
