@FlameRaptorRaven's rating of Raptors vs Wizards

@FlameRaptorRaven rated the Raptors vs Wizards game 3.8 out of 10 in NBA on December 27, 2025. Final score: Raptors 117 – Wizards 138. Reg. Season. Fan ratings and discussion on RateGame.

Looking at this game objectively, it was a high-scoring, but sloppy affair where the Wizards earned the win by taking control early and never relinquishing it fully. As a Raptors fan, that was humiliating, especially the 4th quarter. Good news, the Raptors offense was better. Bad news, the defense forgot how to defend against the Wizards. On the microscopic chance that Bobby Webster sees this, I need him to hear this. You’ve done lots of good for the Raptors, more good than bad certainly. But, you need to do one thing. TRADE FOR A RIM PROTECTING AND REBOUNDING CENTER. This game was a microcosm of the issues in the paint. So many times the Raptors would get a stop or miss a shot, only to look helpless when getting the rebound. Even then, that was when they actually got a stop. If a Wizards got around a Raptors defender, the paint was a safe space. Coulibaly proved that repeatedly. Mamy is a good role player, genuinely happy we have him. But we need a Daniel Gafford-type alongside him.
