“Dicier than I would’ve liked, but a win is a win and a series win is still a series win. No matter how frustrating it was to get there and how much had to happen to make it possible. Jack Leiter didn’t have a good outing. Nearly allowed 2 baserunners per inning pitched and allowed a run in the very first inning, it wasn’t looking good. Thankfully the bats eventually woke up and kept it close until the 9th inning. That 9th inning was a comedy errors for Colorado. A catchers interference, passed ball and clutch Jung single tied the game and gave Texas the lead. Fitting for both sides honestly. Latz shut the door and secured the win for us (he’s been so good dude). Overall, pretty entertaining game. Rangers had a few of close calls before finally capitalizing on the 9th and it made the bottom of the 9th tense. I’ll take it at this point; hopefully Nimmo is okay, losing Seager is already bad enough. Jung has really stepped up for us this year in light of so many hitters underperforming. ”
