I remember how nail-biting this was watching it live, and in hindsight it's kind of ridiculous that the Patriots win here was being dismissed.
Sure, Maye fumbled constantly, but many of those were forced by an absolutely suffocating Texans defense, Will Anderson Jr. standing out in particular. Meanwhile New England's own defense was capitalizing on CJ Stroud's disasterclass.
But what I was amazed by most were the absolutely insane touchdown catches. Boutte's one-handed catch at the ended made me gasp even as I rewatched through highlights. I truly admire the incredible feats this team has been able to produce with this new core.
