“Emmett Johnson with a touchdown for the Chiefs. He was such a stud at Nebraska and honestly one of the most underrated running backs in all of college football. Not even just that, one of the best running backs in college football. Watched a bit of Jalen Royals at Utah State and loved what I saw, and I loved what I saw from him in this game. 6 catches for 51 yards, catching all 6 of his targets. On the winning side, it was Jalon Daniels looking great at quarterback. I saw a lot of promise from him at Kansas, but I was really hesitant to expect it to pan out at the NFL level. Of course, I still am, can't jump to conclusions after a preseason game (I should really tell myself that because I do it all the time) but Daniels was great in this game, 71 yards and a touchdown on 9/14 passing, and also a couple solid runs. Random weird statline of the game: Ko Kieft-2 catches for 4 yards and a touchdown.”
