“Best game of the day. As an MSU fan it’s great to see Martone playing this well. He’s been a revelation for Philly so far and could very well be the difference in this series. Side note: It’s ridiculous that this series is taking place in the first round between the #7 and #8 team in the East. The NHL will never beat the Mickey Mouse allegations while they have a playoff set up where the #1 seed Hurricanes get a tougher draw than the #8 seed Flyers. It’s similarly ridiculous in the West (see Stars vs. Wild). I can’t stand Bettman’s refusal to wrap his head around this one. Everyone hates it. Bring back seeding 1-8.”
