The Raptors win this game with scrappy effort before and in overtime. Scottie Barnes is a man among boys. In the wise words of Jaylen Brown, he is “strong as hell”. The first Raptor ever to have a 20-20-10 game. He also tied the Raptors’ record for most rebounds in a single game with Bismack Biyombo (seriously). He alone had almost half of Golden State’s total rebounds and accounted for more than a 3rd of the Raptors’ rebounds. Barnes was a total beast and his rebounding was crucial when the Raptors kept missing shots down the stretch and he kept gobbling them up. He did all this while pissing off Draymond Green by giving him 0 respect on his jumper and Curry nearly put up a 40-piece himself. The Warriors didn’t get much help besides that duo and Butler. Scottie Barnes had Ingram making clutch jumpers, JaKobe Walter proving his value to the Raptors on both sides and Quickley both distributing and hitting jumpers. An important win for both legitimacy and confidence.
