“ALGERIA, AT THE DEATH, SAVES THEIR CHANCES IN THE WORLD CUP AND MY CHANCES AT THE GROUP ACHIEVEMENT! It was looking grim for both late in this game as Jordan, despite barely having the ball, were capitalizing on the few chances they got, eventually leading to the first goal of the game before halftime. Algeria were in shambles, their entire World Cup relied on winning this game. They couldn’t afford to lose. Luckily, a couple of set pieces helped Algeria complete the comeback, save their World Cup and subsequently end Jordan’s. While that storyline was awesome, the game itself beyond that just kinda alright. Not great as Algeria hung on the ball, but struggled to do much until the 2nd half. Meanwhile, Jordan looked totally helpless after Algeria took the lead, basically a dead team walking. The play on the field probably deserves like a 6 while the crazy comeback deserves like an 9. But I’m gonna give it a boost because this game saved my group achievement, so it gets a solid 8/10. ”
