The Gtech Community Stadium is the compact, atmospheric west London home of Brentford FC, opened in 2020 as the club rose from the Championship into the Premier League. Tucked beside Kew Bridge just over a kilometre from the club's old ground, its steep single-tier stands wrap tightly around the pitch on all four sides. There is no running track or dead space anywhere in the bowl, so noise stays locked in and rolls straight down onto the players. It has quickly built a reputation as one of the toughest away trips in the Premier League despite its modest size.
The stadium replaced Griffin Park, Brentford's home for nearly 116 years, closing out a long era of one of English football's most old-fashioned grounds. Built as part of a wider regeneration project including new housing, it was designed from the outset around fan intensity and community use, including rugby union fixtures. Brentford's promotion to the Premier League in 2021, in only their second season at the new ground, gave the stadium an instant signature moment. Its steep, close stands were built with exactly that kind of top-flight atmosphere in mind.
