Delta Center in downtown Salt Lake City is home to the Jazz and the NHL's expansion Utah Mammoth. Its steep seating bowl and vocal crowd made it one of the NBA's tougher road buildings during the franchise's biggest eras. The arena is currently undergoing a major renovation to modernize it as a dual-sport venue for basketball and hockey. Concerts and other large events round out its calendar alongside the two franchises' schedules.
It opened in 1991 and was the stage for the Stockton-to-Malone Jazz teams that reached back-to-back NBA Finals in 1997 and 1998. Known for years as the Delta Center and later EnergySolutions Arena and Vivint Arena before reverting to the Delta Center name, the building has been a fixture of Utah sports for over three decades. It became a two-team home in 2024-25 when the NHL's relocated franchise, now the Utah Mammoth, joined the Jazz as tenants. Ongoing construction is reshaping the arena to serve both sports long-term.
