Overview

Kohl Center is the home of Wisconsin Badgers basketball and hockey in Madison. The 17,000-plus seat arena is one of the largest in the Big Ten. It creates an electric atmosphere for Badgers athletics.

Opened in 1998, named for Senator Herb Kohl who donated $25 million. The venue hosts men's and women's basketball and men's hockey. It has hosted NCAA Tournament games and Frozen Fours. The Kohl Center is a crown jewel of Wisconsin athletics.
