Ben Hill Griffin Stadium

Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, known as The Swamp, is the home of Florida Gators football in Gainesville. The 88,548-seat venue is one of the most intimidating in college football. Its atmosphere and tradition make it a legendary SEC destination.

Opened November 8, 1930, as Florida Field. Renamed for Ben Hill Griffin in 1989. The stadium has been expanded repeatedly. A $400 million renovation will reduce capacity to 84,000 by 2030. The Swamp has hosted multiple national championship seasons.
