The WVU Coliseum is the home of West Virginia Mountaineers basketball in Morgantown, West Virginia. The round, steep-banked arena hosts the school's Big 12 men's and women's basketball, along with volleyball, wrestling, and gymnastics, and is known for one of the loudest, most raucous home-court atmospheres in the conference.
Opened in 1970, the Coliseum has been West Virginia's home basketball venue for more than five decades and has hosted the Mountaineers through multiple conference eras, including their move to the Big 12. In September 2025, the university announced a 10-year naming-rights partnership with Hope Gas, renaming the building Hope Coliseum in the first name change in its history. The arena's tradition and intimidating home environment for opponents remain unchanged by the rebrand.
