Matthew Knight Arena

Matthew Knight Arena is the home of Oregon Ducks basketball in Eugene, Oregon. The sleek, modern arena replaced the historic McArthur Court and features a distinctive 'Deep in the Woods' court design with a green-and-yellow forest motif. Its steep, close seating bowl and Nike-driven production values give Oregon home games a big-time, made-for-television feel.

Opened in 2011 and funded in large part by Nike co-founder Phil Knight, the arena is named in memory of his son Matthew, who died in 2004. It has hosted top-ranked Oregon teams, including the men's 2017 Final Four squad, and has become one of the Pac-12-turned-Big Ten's premier basketball venues. The arena's opening marked a new era for Oregon athletics, moving the program off the century-old 'Pit' and into a modern, revenue-driving facility.
