Ed and Rae Schollmaier Arena is the home of TCU Horned Frogs men's and women's basketball in Fort Worth, Texas. A modern, fully renovated bowl on the TCU campus, it serves the program's Big 12 schedule with a compact, purple-clad atmosphere. Its intimate size for a power-conference program keeps crowds concentrated and loud. The arena sits alongside TCU's other athletic facilities in the heart of campus.
The venue opened in 1961 as Daniel-Meyer Coliseum and reopened in December 2015 after a complete top-to-bottom renovation, renamed for lead donors Ed and Rae Schollmaier. The redesign shrank the bowl to an intimate roughly 6,800 seats while modernizing sightlines, concourses, and premium seating. It has hosted TCU basketball through the program's move from the Mountain West and Big 12 realignment. The building is now regarded as one of the nicer mid-size arenas in a Power Conference.
