SHI Stadium

SHI Stadium is the on-campus home of Rutgers Scarlet Knights football in Piscataway, New Jersey, and also hosts Rutgers men's and women's lacrosse. Seating over 52,000, it gives Rutgers a sizable venue for its Big Ten home schedule in the New York-New Jersey media market. The stadium's bowl was expanded in the late 2000s to add a large student section in the south end zone. Game days draw a mix of campus energy and tri-state-area fans making the trip to Piscataway.

The stadium opened as Rutgers Stadium on September 3, 1994, and was expanded in 2009 to its current capacity. It has carried a series of naming-rights titles since 2011, first as High Point Solutions Stadium, briefly as HighPoint.com Stadium, and since 2019 as SHI Stadium under a deal with IT company SHI International. Rutgers has used the venue throughout its move from the Big East into the Big Ten. It remains the Scarlet Knights' primary football and lacrosse home.
