Overview
Kia Center in downtown Orlando is the home of the Magic, a modern arena built to anchor the city's growing downtown entertainment district. It opened with one of the league's largest center-hung video boards at the time and has since kept pace with NBA arena upgrades. Beyond Magic games, it regularly hosts concerts and touring family shows that make it a hub for central Florida's live entertainment scene. Its sleek glass-and-steel exterior contrasts with the older Amway Arena it replaced next door.
History & Legacy
The arena opened in 2010 as Amway Center, replacing the aging Orlando Arena as the Magic's home. It was renamed Kia Center in 2023 under a new naming-rights deal. The Magic have hosted deep playoff pushes here, including runs led by Dwight Howard-era teams early in the building's life and a resurgent young core in more recent seasons. As downtown Orlando's primary arena, it has become the city's default venue for major concerts and touring productions alongside Magic basketball.

Once again another stadium that mogs Scotiabank Arena. Got to watch prime Klaw in 2019 here so pretty cool

One of my favorite arenas due to the nostalgia. Coming into Amway Center at the time for work everyday was a blessing and created some of my best memories during my time in Orlando.
Arena is modern and new. Very spacious corridors to get between sections, lots of food and drink options, even some Orlando local legend spots that have their own booths. Lower and Upper bowl seats have a perfect view of the court and Jernigans is an amazing option if you wanna eat while watching the game (regular season).
