“Have not really watched as much WNBA as I've wanted too this past week, and that MIGHT be due to the world cup, but man was this an amazing game, with an even better finish. New York up by double digits early but the Sparks continued to chip away at that lead, even taking the lead for a short time, but the Liberty locked back in. As it looked like they were about to cruise to a victory, Stewie missed a free throw, no big deal, but the Sparks pulled back within one. Bad challenge from Lynne Roberts left them with no timeouts, they had to foul, they foul Stewie again... she MISSED the first free throw, but sank the second. Two to tie three to win it, and Ogwumike hits a BUZZER BEATER THREE. OH MY DAYS, THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY GAME ENDS LIKE THAT. ARE YOU KIDDING ME???”
