“GAME OF THE SEASON WELCOME TO LEITE TOWN (POPULATION: THE WASHINGTON MYSTICS) WHAT A GAME BY CARLA LEITE. FROM THE BUZZER BEATER TO TIE THE GAME IN REGULATION, TO THE GAME TYING 3 TO TIE THE GAME AGAIN IN 1OT. The game slowed down HEAVILY in the second overtime, with 8 points being scored in that window. Third overtime came and went and STILL the game wasn’t decided. 4th overtime was a SLUG FEST, as NOBODY was scoring (atleast up until the 2 minute mark). Bridget Carleton, Kiki Iriafen, and Megan Gustafson fouled out in the fourth, which was a HUGE blow to both teams (especially Portland, as it was their 2nd and 3rd player to foul out) FINALLY the game ended on a missed Carla Leite layup”
