“A very fun fact, this was mentioned on the broadcast, is that this Thunder season started with a double overtime win against the Rockets. They now stand 0-1, their 1st postseason loss, in double overtime to the Spurs. These endurant young cores were bound to meet up against each other, a collision course destined in the stars, a match formed by the basketball gods, an impact that of kaleidoscopic glory! However, to really understand the inner workings of an "instant classic", it is wise to look at the MVP and the DPOY in the game. SGA was faulty in the first half, a meager 4 points. A shining homestretch and 1OT let himself finish with a presentable 24 points, bogged down routinely in his predictable free throws and the OKC defensive monstrosity. Caruso shined with 31 off the bench. Jalen Williams put up 26. On the other side, Wembanyama dazzled (mind you in 49mins) with 41 points and 24 rebounds, not even showing his famous defensive capab- and i'm reaching word limit ****. Spurs win.”
