EverBank Stadium

EverBank Stadium is the riverfront home of the Jacksonville Jaguars, built on the St. Johns River on the site of the old Gator Bowl Stadium. It is famous for its enormous scoreboard video boards -- among the largest in football when installed -- and for the poolside cabanas and swimming pools built into the north end zone stands. The open-air bowl regularly bakes in Florida heat and humidity, giving it a distinctly tropical, laid-back game-day feel. Tailgating along the river and Jaguars' Bold City fan energy add to the atmosphere on Sundays.

The stadium opened in 1995 as Jacksonville Municipal Stadium, incorporating portions of the historic Gator Bowl Stadium, and helped bring the NFL's expansion Jaguars to northeast Florida. It hosted Super Bowl XXXIX in 2005 and has gone through several naming-rights eras -- EverBank Field, TIAA Bank Field, and back to EverBank Stadium in 2023. It is the longtime annual site of the Florida-Georgia rivalry game and the Gator Bowl, and its 2007 Florida State-Alabama season opener still holds the stadium's attendance record at over 85,000. The venue has also hosted major concert tours from U2, The Rolling Stones and Green Day.
