Overview
Ford Field is the home of the Detroit Lions and hosts college football including the Quick Lane Bowl. The downtown Detroit venue features a unique design incorporating a restored 1920s Hudson's warehouse. Its fixed dome protects against harsh Michigan winters while allowing natural light.
History & Legacy
Opened August 24, 2002, at a cost of $500 million. The Lions moved from the Pontiac Silverdome. The stadium has hosted Super Bowl XL and the 2009 NCAA Final Four. WrestleMania 23 set a record attendance of 80,103.
