BMO Field

BMO Field on Toronto's lakeshore is the home of Toronto FC and the Canadian men's and women's national teams, the spiritual home of soccer in Canada. Set right on Lake Ontario next to Exhibition Place, its open-air bowl was purpose-built for soccer — tight sightlines, a real grass pitch, and a supporters' section that makes it one of MLS's most authentic atmospheres. It has been steadily expanded and modernized since opening, most recently to accommodate the scale of a World Cup crowd.

Opened in 2007 as a soccer-specific stadium, it gave Toronto FC — MLS's first Canadian club — a true home pitch and helped fuel the country's growing soccer culture. It has hosted multiple MLS Cup finals, including the 2016 final against Seattle Sounders FC, and has long served as the primary home venue for Canada's men's and women's national teams. Expanded for the tournament, it stages Canada's 2026 World Cup matches — including the nation's home opener — a milestone moment for Canadian soccer.
