Sutter Health Park

Sutter Health Park in West Sacramento is the temporary MLB home of the Athletics while their permanent Las Vegas ballpark is under construction. Originally a minor-league facility, it's the smallest park in the majors, giving fans a far more intimate view of the game than the sprawling Coliseum they left behind. The setting is modest by big-league standards, but the closeness to the field has become part of its charm during the club's stopgap years in Sacramento. It's shared duty with the Triple-A River Cats, giving the ballpark a genuinely community feel.

Built in under nine months with entirely private funding, the ballpark opened in 2000 as Raley Field, longtime home of the Sacramento River Cats. The Athletics relocated there for the 2025 season after leaving Oakland, playing their MLB home opener on March 31, 2025, against the Chicago Cubs. It's serving as the A's home through at least 2027, with an option for a fourth year, while their new stadium rises on the Las Vegas Strip. The arrangement makes it the first minor-league park in decades to double as a full-time major-league home.
