Frost Bank Center sits on the east side of San Antonio as the home of the Spurs. Its large, well-appointed bowl reflects the arena's dual purpose as both an NBA venue and a major concert and rodeo-adjacent events center. San Antonio's basketball-first fan base gives home games a steady, knowledgeable energy. The building also regularly hosts touring concerts and family shows outside the Spurs' season.
It opened in 2002 as the SBC Center, replacing the Alamodome as the Spurs' home, and was renamed AT&T Center in 2006 before becoming Frost Bank Center in 2023. The arena housed the championship core of the Duncan-era Spurs, one of the great dynasties of the modern NBA, which won titles in 2003, 2005 and 2007 while playing there. It has also hosted WWE events and other major touring productions over the years. The venue remains central to San Antonio's identity as a basketball town.
