Wintrust Arena

Wintrust Arena is a modern downtown Chicago arena adjacent to McCormick Place, serving as the home of DePaul Blue Demons men's and women's basketball. The building gives DePaul a sleek, city-center alternative to the old Allstate Arena, with clean sightlines and a genuine big-city arena feel. It doubles as the home of the WNBA's Chicago Sky and hosts concerts and conventions tied into the McCormick Place campus. Wintrust Arena opened in 2017, giving DePaul its first true on-campus-caliber home in the city after decades of playing at suburban Allstate Arena. Its opening also gave the Chicago Sky a dedicated downtown venue, and the arena has since hosted WNBA playoff games, Big East basketball, and touring concerts and events. The building's location near McCormick Place has made it a hub for Chicago sports and entertainment beyond DePaul athletics.
