MetLife Stadium

MetLife Stadium rises out of the New Jersey Meadowlands just across the river from Manhattan, the shared home of the New York Giants and New York Jets and one of the largest stadiums in the NFL by capacity. It's also periodically hosted Navy's Midshipmen for the storied Army-Navy Game, one of the sport's great neutral-site traditions. The bowl's twisting metal-mesh facade and open-air design let it flip identities constantly, from two different NFL sidelines on back-to-back Sundays to WWE spectacle to World Cup soccer. On the league's biggest stages the building's scale and its New York media-market roar give it an outsized, big-event character.

Opened in 2010 replacing Giants Stadium, it became the first cold-weather, outdoor Super Bowl host when it staged Super Bowl XLVIII in February 2014. It has also drawn WrestleMania twice — WrestleMania 29 in 2013 and WrestleMania 35 in 2019, each pulling crowds above 80,000 — and hosted the Army-Navy Game in 2021. Its crowning moment comes on July 19, 2026, when it stages the FIFA World Cup Final — the championship of the first 48-team tournament.
